CHILD STILL MISSING. The little girl named Gladys Kipp, who was kidnapped while going to school on Thursday morning, has not been found by tL> police, though vigorous inquiries were prosecuted yesterday. A middle-aged and fairly well-dressed man named Richard James was brought before Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday in connection with the case. The charge against him read, "that on February 22 he did attempt to deprive one Annie Kipp, a person having the lawful custody of Gladys Kipp, of the possession of such child/' Sub-Inspector Hendrey applied for a remand for one week. There were certain circumstances which he did not wish to speak of, why the man should not get baa. The application was granted.
