FOLLOWING ON A COLLISION.

FOUR MEN BURNED TO DEATH

By Telegraph.—Tress Association.—Copyright.

New York, February 21. • Near North Adams, Massachusetts, a freight train collided, midway through the Hoosac tunnel, with a crowded Boston express. The wreckage of the freight train took fire, and four trainmen were burned to death. The tunnel was blocked completely, but the passengers aboard the express escaped.

The heat was so great that portions of the tunnel collapsed.
