RECENT ARRIVAL'S DEATH.
[B* TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dttxedin, Tuesday. As* inquest was held this morning on the body of Hugh Spiers, a recent arrival in tho district, who died in a fit yesterday. Medical evidence was given to the effect that death was due to a perforation of tho stomach, causing peritonitis. . There was also evidence of the deceased having been a chronic drunkard. A verdict was returned in accordance with tho medical testimony.
