CLAIM AGAINST SOCIETY. [BT TEI/EGKAPH. — ASSOCIATION.] ... Chbistchdech, Tuesday. As a sequel to the ejection of certain members of the National Peace Council from the Canterbury A. j and P. Association's Metropolitan Show Grounds last November for having distributed anti-militarist literature, several persons suing on behalf of themselves and the. .other members of the National Peace Council in the Magistrate's Court* to-day claimed from the Canterbury A. and P. Association ; £25 damages for breach of contract, £25 damages - for trespass to the goods of the said council, such other relief as the Court might consider them entitled to; and the costs ■of this action. , After evidence was given the case was adjourned for legal argument to be taken on a date to be fixed.
