Rotokta, Monday. Owing to Mr. A. T. Ngata being returned unopposed for tho Eastern Maori District, no polling will take place here to-morrow. The Maoris in tho Arawa Council District will decide by ballot whether intoxicants shall be allowed. If prohibition is carried

it will be- unlawful to supply any Maori or half-caste with intoxicants.
