KING'S THANKS TO FRANCE.
By Telegraph Press Association.-Copyright. (Deceived December 18, 11.10 p.m.) London, December 18. Kino George has donated £120 and the Duke and Duchess of Fife £100 to the fund for the . relief of those depending on the French cruiser Friant's men who lost their lives in the Delhi rescues.
The King has telegraphed to President Fallieres thanking the French navy for the aid it , rendered at the wreck of the Delhi, and regretting the loss of brave men.
The body of a French sailor has been recovered from the sea at Tangier. It was shipped to France with imposing ceremony, the staffs of the British and French legations and British officers and bluejackets being present. The Princess Royal sent a wreath.
The passenger whose leg was broken was got safely ashore.
