The stewards of the Takapuna.Jockey Club met yesterday to consider the question of the , postponed portion Of the second • day's racing. -It was- decided to communicate with the Minister for Internal Affairs requesting that the club .be allowed Ito hold the races on Saturday next. No reply had been received last night to the communication sent by the stewards.
