ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE QUEEN'S THEATRE. The' thvfcl change of programme at the Queen's Theatre was greeted by large audififtoes throughout yesterday. The outstanding feature in a programme of exceptional merit was the photo-drama Paquita," a story of guerilla warfare in Spain, and the devotion of a senorita to her rebel lover. The quality of the film is excellent, and the groupings in the battle scenes are highly spectacular. •' The Great Big West " tells a dramatic story of human interest, and was vociferously 'received. The. ' Italian navy manoeuvres are minutely presented, and each section of the work culminating in the blowing up of a vessel by torpedos created considerable interest. " Dan, the Dandy," an A.B. production, is well up to the high standard maintained by. the makers, and the comedy drama is entirely unique in cinematography. " The ' Launch of the Commonwealth Dreadnought," 1 was received with cheers, and the comics, " Brown 1 Bewitched " (a clever trick film), together with " Pardon Me " and " Irresistible Evolution," were greeted with laughter loud and 'long. The programme will be repeated- to-day and to-morrow only, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. A fourth change takes place, on Thursday.

A DELPHI THEATRE. Tho Star. Pictures at the Adelphi Theatre, Newmarket, have added quite an attraction to that district, and another large and appreciative ' audience assembled in the theatre last night. ■ The programme is an exceptionally good- one. and will be repeated to-night for the last time, as the bi-weekly change of programme takes place to-morrow.
