Campbell for annual coin- j i petition by the defence cadets was held on the j j Penrose range on Friday. The Auckland College j | and Grammar School and King's and Pah Col- ' leges each entered « team. The conditions were j i seven shots each at 200 yds, 300 yds, and 400 yds, j ' with teams of 10. The Auckland College and Grammar School proved the winners, this mak- | i tag their 10th consecutive win. The best range totals were: At 200 yds, Mclntyre, Potter, and I Combes, 33; at 300 yds, Olphert and Wily, 32; ! at 400vds, Mclntyre- .put on the possible, fol- j , lowed "by no less than seven 34*8. The highest j ! individual score was made by Corporal Combes, : 1 97, who thus won a silver medal.
