The result was a draw, of one goal and three tries each. During the mid-week some hard things had been said Of Northern Union play, and bo this match was regarded a* important. To the credit of'both the visitors and Huiislet, however, the most critical spectator, could find little to complain of. The 80 minutes' play was keen, but never rough, and though on two or three occasions the referee had to talk to over.r.ealous players, this pardonable fault was evenly distributed. . ... .
