In the Industrial Court, the president (Judge Scholes), over-ruled the conviction of a permanent employee for accepting work from another employer on ** bis statutory half-holiday. The president held that the Wages Board had no power to dictate how a per-, son should spend the half-holiday, which was given unconditionally, with the right of the recipient to use it as he liked. •
