THE AUCKLAND PROPOSAL. [BY TELEGRAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHBiSTcmTRCH, Monday. At a meeting of the Board of Governors of the Canterbury Collego to-day the chairman referred in committee to the proposal of the Auckland University Collego Council to establish a school of engineering at Auckland in rivalry with the school already established at Chrietchurch. The board decided to communicate with the Minister for Education, and to leave the matter in the hands of tho Museum and Library Committee with power to act.
