THE WAITEMATA SHOW.
JUDGES APPOINTED.
Preparations are being made for the Waltemata Show, to be held at Waiwera on Saturday, January 20, 1912, and the following judges have accepted appointment :-Mr. J. "Walters for draught horses. Mr. Selby for light horses, Mr. J. Gordon for cattle; Mr. Eber Barriball for sheep, Mr. Anderson for dairy produce, Mr. Thompson for jams and preserves, Mr. a. Morrison for fruit and vegetables, and Mesdames Bedford and kronfeld for needlework and cookery. Arrangements have been made with the Northern Steamship Company to run excursion steamers to the show from Matakana, Warkworth. Silverdale, and Whangaparoa. and Auckland. A good prize schedule is being issued. Waiwera is a favourite resort for excursionists, and the show grounds are each year attracting an increasing number of visitors. ■
