f»Y TELWJRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Timartt, Monday. Evidence taken at the inquest on Archibald Carter, aged 26 years, who was killed on the railway at Winchester, on Saturday night, showed that tho deceased was drunk when he got off the train at the station. He was seen standing near the train, but no. one saw how tho accident happened. Apparently he fell between the car and the platform, and his clothing caught some projection on the guard's van. The body was dragged for 250 yards over the cattle stop, and then fell clear. It was badly cut and bruised, and the skull was fractured. The inquest has not concluded.
