THE BARRIER TRIP.
Sir,—Whatever may be the result of the experiment of the Union Steam Ship Company running a trip to the Barrier on. Labour Day, I hope thoy will run ou« during the Christmas holidays,. when the weather is more favourable for such excursions. I was one of those who enjoyed the trip they ran some 30 years ago, when the 4 Rotomahana was the excursion steamer. Certain reasons hindered that, being an j annual function, which, now I trust will be arranged. It is a trip which in the holiday season will bo much appreciated, and well patronised. AuCKLANDEB. i
