THE WELLINGTON EXHIBITION
A SUCCESSFUL SEASON.
[BT TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.) ' . Wellington, Sunday. Tire Wellington Industrial Exhibition, which opened on May 124, was closed last night after a very successful run. Up to Friday night, 157,641 persons had attended, and about 10,000 more have to be added for yesterday. The complete figures are not yet available, but the executive expects to make a handsome profit. Dense crowds were present last night, when a*■ fancy dress carnival was held. The president of the Wellington Exhibition Commissioners states that the, financial results are satisfactory. The sum of £800 is on fixed deposit, and there is a like amount on current account.
