LECTURE ON THE GAME. The final of a series of lectures on ; the game of hockey given by Mt. F. H. • Burbush (president of the Auckland • Hockey Referees' Association) was delivered at the Y.M.C.A. Hall last night. There was a large attendance, including a number of ladies. The lecturer dealt with field tactics, gave general advice to players, and gave rulings on the finer points of the gome.
