GOLDFIELDS' UNION.

Wawi, Monday.
At a meeting of the Goldfields Rugby Union on Saturday evening it was decided to play a. match against a combined team from Maniato and King Country at To Kuiti next Saturday, and Mr. Field was appointed manager . of the , Goldflelds team. The return match against Thames was fixed for the 22nd inst. at Waihi.
CAMBRIDGE MATCHES. [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
Cambiiidsis, . Monday. The Eihikihi team played City on Saturday afternoon. The former were the stronger and played better all-round' football, winning rather easily by 14 points to nil. Mr. W. R. McVeagh was referee. ■' In the morning the boys of the Hamilton High School tried conclusions with, the Cambridge High, School boys, the visitors winning by 6 points to nil. Mr. 0. Peake was referee.
