MANY STILL TO REGISTER
(BY TELEGRAPH.-—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington. Thursday. FiGCRES supplied by the defence authorities show that there are still numbers of males between the ages of 14 and 21 who have not yet registered under the new defence scheme.
For the week ended June 10 2748 persons registered, the. figures for each district be;ng ; —Territorials and senior cadets : Auckland, 596 and 410; Wellington, 254 and 309; Canterbury, 426 and 454; Otago, 170 and 129 : totals, 1446 and 1302.
June 17 is absolutely the last day for receiving registrations. All persons who should have registered by that date and fail to do so will be prosecuted.
