DRIVING WITHOUT LIGHTS.
TRAP AND MOTOR COLLIDE.
[B? TELEGRAm.— ASSOCIATION.] Timaru, Thursday. A.v unligated trap, said to be going fast, met a motor car on the road near Levels Station to-night. The car thrust the horse into a fence and killed it. The cart was smashed and the motor very much damaged. 0. Gosling, who was in the cart, escaped apparently unhurt. There were two men in the car, Messrs. E. Reid and J. Shallcrass. The former, who was driving, had his arm broken and was seriously injured internally, whilo the latter sustained some cuts and was badly shaken.
