MUSICIANS' SALARIES.

During tho hearing of iho musicians' citation of employers in (ho Perth (W.A.) Arbitration Court last week, claims with regard to grand opera, concerts, oratorios, amateur productions of music, and cases in restaurants and skating rinks, were struck out, no evidence of dispute having l»en given. Mr. Geo, of West's Pictures Company, said the company wero willing to pay 10s per limn for each performance, and an extra 10s for each matinee. The men are asking £4- a week, and extra pay for matinees. It was stated that some proprietors of picture shows were losing money.
