GUNSHOT FOR TRESPASSERS.

A shooting case occurred last week near Lyndhurstvalo, a few miles from Dungog (N.S.W.). Several railway workers entered an orchard, and were helping themselves to fruit, when a gun was fired, the contents of thechargo lodging in the back of a man who Had climbed an orange tree. The sufferer was brought to the Dungog Hospital, where it. was found that lie had been peppored with pallets from the base of the skull to the base of the spine.
