I am surprised that none of the ratepayers present should have informed the -horn gentleman that during his absence two mora parks have been added to our breathing; spaces by the gift, of Mr. McLachlau and Mr. Atkinson, and that Parnell and Newmarket are arranging for 'portion of the Hobson Bay intake to be turned into a park. Surely when we add these to our national reserve m the Waitakere, tho Domain, One, a ultH' ? rey Lyaa Park Victoria Park Albert Park, etc., etc., and find that these costi over £8000 yearly to keep in order, wo ought to be satisfied we have done enough - and spend enough.
