Chkistchurch, Monday. . v The . figures prepared by the registrar, of the Christchurch;. district show that . the number of births registered in the district during i 1910 is smaller than the number in any of the ? three preceding years : and the number of deaths is larger than in 1908 and 1909. ,:'.', Marriages were considerably more numerous in 1910 than ■in 1908 \ and" 1909.
