POLICING OF PERSIA.

-, - BRITAIN'S RECENT THREAT. By Telegraph.Press Association.—Copyright. Teheran, December 28. The Persian Minister for Foreign Affairs (Ala-es-Sultanch) has resigned, owing to the situation in Southern Persia not improving, and to the increasing possibility of the threat embodied in the recent British Note being carried out. There has been no case of robbery on the main route from Bushire to Shiraz since September 5, but the Governor-General has not reached his post, nor is the gendarmerie being reorganised.
