[BY TELEGRAPH. ASSOCIATION.] Napier, Friday. A man named William Cranny, aged 71, for many years in the local branch of the Bank of New Zealand, was accidentally killed to-day. . He was cleaning the outside of a window on a second storey, when the sash cord to which he was holding broke and he fell backwards to the ground, sustaining internal injuries and fracturing his hip. The sufferer was removed to the hospital, but died shortly afterwards. An inquest- »vill be held tomorrow.
