SAINTS' DAYS OBJECTED TO.

Tht Parliamentary Committee of the Employers' Federation, has written to the Minister for Internal Affairs, expressing general approval of the Public Holidays Bill, bat suggesting that bank holidays be still further reduced. Ib is pointed out that observance of saints days is not carried out by other portions of the community, and is therefore unnecessary, and will cause inconvenience to business people. The Federation suggests the deletion, from the list of bank holidays of St. Patrick's Day, St. George's Day, and St. Andrew's Day.
