"FOUR HOURS TO CLEAR OUT."
UNDESIRABLE AT DARGAVILLE. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Dargaytlle, Friday. At the Police Court this morning a man named William Galbraith was charged, under the vagrancy clauses of the Police Offences Act, with being an idle and disorderly person. The accused came to the Wairoa four or five months ago, and worked for two or three weeks at the Naumai mill. Ho then left Naumai without paying his board, and went to Aratapu, where he knocked about doing no work. He was warned by Constable McDonnell, and eventually he came to Dargaville some five or sis days ago, and had done no work here. The Bench convicted the accused, and gave him "'four hours to clear out of the town."-
