BROKEN PROHIBITION ORDERS. [BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.]

Christchurch, Tuesday. When* Mr. Bishop, S.M., had a man before him this morning for a third broach of a prohibition order, he issued a general warning to prohibited persons. He was not going to have orders treated with contempt, he said, and lie would give a man a chance, but when there were persistent breaches, offenders would be dealt with under reformatory institutions legislation, and sent to an inebriates' home for two years.
