A CLA'M FOR DAMAGES.

By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright.

(Received August. 19, 10 p.m.)

Brussels, August 19. The Journal de Bruxelles reports that the Kasai Company is suing the Government for £600,000 damages on the ground that the decree of March 22 deprives the company of the exclusive rights of domain lands in the Congo, which it has possessed for 30 years by convention with the Congo Free State.
