Rome, August 19. Thirty-three deaths from cholera have occurred at Apulia, and 19 died of the same disease at Trani in a few hours.
I Stringent disinfection and isolation have been enforced, and the sale of old clothes forbidden. It is believed that a band of Odessa gipsies brought the disease to Italy.
St. Petersburg, August 19. Two cases of cholera arc reported
aboard a British steamer at Odessa.
