CAPTAIN KNYVETT'S ARREST.
[DT TELEGRAPH.— CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Friday. In referring to the case of Captain vett this rooming, the Dominion says :— "Captain Knyvett is alleged to have stated that he is prepared to submit an affidavit to prove that he had authority for stating that we received our information as to the visit of tho Auckland gunners to Wellington from Colonel Robin. We do not know Captain Knyvett's authority, but he is quite mistaken. It is only fair to state that the information did not come from Colonel Robin, nor has Colonel Robin, as is alleged, contributed to the columns of the Dominion. The only information supplied by Colonel Robin is that which appeared under his name."
