LANDS FOR SETTLEMENT.
A MILLION A YEAR.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —SBECIAL CORRESPONDENT.} Wellington. Tuesday. The Land for Settlement Administration Bill, introduced late to-night, empowers the Minister for Finance, in order to provide funds for the purpose of lands for settlement, to raise a sum not exceeding £1,000,000 in any one financial year, the rate of interest not to exceed 4£- per cent.
