Eight sections of town land at Ohiwa were offered for sale by the Commissioner of Crown Lands (Mr. E. C. Gold Smith) at the Auckland Lands Office yesterday. The sections are each one rood in size, and are situated near the Ohiwa Wharf. The following were the successful bidders :— Section 4, Block 11., Mrs. E. I. Best, £20; section 5, Block 11., Mrs. M. J. Campbell, £20; section 8, Block 11., Mrs. M. J. Campbell, £20; section 9, ■ Block 11., Mrs. E. I. Best, .£2O; section 7, Block IV., Mr. F. W. L. Kirk, £20; section 9, Block IV., Mrs. M. J. Campbell, £15. These figures were the upset prices. Sections 8 and 10, Block IV., were passed in Friday and Saturday next, Agricultural Show, Alexandra Park. Splendid exhibits all stock section*.
