BUDGET DEBATE.
STARTING. TO-NIGHT.

Wellington, Monday. The Budget debate will be opened by Mr. Massey, the Leader- of the Opposition, to-morrow evening. He will;deal mainly with the question of finance, in-creased-taxation, and the land policy of the Government. There is at present no telling how long the debate will last. It may- occupy a fortnight, or it may take only a couple of days.
