THE COOK ISLANDS.

[BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Sunday. The Cook Islands- report presented to Parliament shows that the finances of the islands' Administration are in a sound condition. The revenue for the year ended March 31 last- amounted to £7146, an increase of £797 over the preceding year. Expenditure for the year amounted to £5718, a reduction of £471. The financial operations resulted in a cash surplus of £5011. Imports to the Cook Islands show a substantial increase, and the exports were £9074 above the values of 1908.
