IMMIGRANTS BY THE PAPAROA

■■• Wellington, Friday. There are 163 passengers for. New Zeav land on the Paparoa, which is due to reach Wellington about the middle of next week. Of these, 126 are in the third class. Sixty- of the immigrants have been assisted in payment of their passage money, this number including 29 women, 14 men, and 20 children. Those actually sent out through the High Commissioner's office number 22 (17 adults and five children), . • while the other 26 adults and 15 children were nominated by friends at this end. The women include 13 domestics, one housekeeper, and seven wives, travelling out with their children to rejoin their husbands. Among the men are seven farmers, one farm labourer, and one dairyman.
