Williams (Napier), 85 points, 1; Miss Z. Fowler (Hastings), 83 points, 2. Piano (junior) : Master A. H. P. Briasco (Napier), 89 points, 1; Miss D. Cameron (Napier), 87 points, 2. Piano (intermediate) : Miss F. Hobbs (Hastings), 92 points, 1; Master F. Sheehan (Hastings), 89 points, 2.
Tenor solo: R. Wilson (Napier), 79 points, 1; G. C. Lyttelton (Napier), 77 points, 2. Elocution (ladies): Miss A. Evans (Napier), 91 points, 1; Miss K. E. Darby (Hastings), 85 points, 2. Tenor and bass duet: S. Prime and G. C. Tudehope (Napier), 81 points, 1; R. Wilson and S. R. Wood (Napier), 79 points, 2. Cornet solo: B. Peterson (Napier), 89 points, was plated first, and A. J. Berryman (Hastings), 88 points, second, but the event is undecided, owing to a protest having been lodged. Bass vocal solo: P. H. Davie (Woodville), 82 points, 1; F. L.' Vickers (Hastings), 75 points, 2.
