The secretary presented a rough balanceIfR sheet in connection with the show, which showed the receipts to bo £1105 3s sd, made lip as .follows Members' subscriptions, £124 10s; door receipts, £491 13a 9d; space ' money, £266 2s; privileges, £32 17s 6d; entry fees, £139 16s 6d; weight-guessing returns, £14 6s Id; cloakroom, £1 Is 2d; do,y . nations, £22 17s; sundries, £11 19s 6d. Tho Expenditure totalled £866 ss, and included— prize-money, £200; general expenses, £145 S '7s 6d; printing, £24 Is 6d; advertising, £68 5s fed; lighting, £91 10s; labour, £71 0s •6d; material to plant .account, £25; secre-fi'.-i- tary's salary, £100 petty cash, £13; traveler- .ling expenses, £3; accounts to come in, £5. The president said that the statement •<, *- disclosed a very satisfactory state of affairs. They had made about £300 on the ; ' .show, which was a most gratifying result. • He _ suggested increasing, the prizes in the tffi agricultural, dairy, and other sections.
