PROPERTY SALES. • An auction sale of country properties wag held yesterday afternoon by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, at their Durham-street yards, when four sections comprising 13 acres 1 rood 20 perches in the township of Panmure sold for £100 an acre. There was a large attendance at the auction rooms of Messrs. T. Mandeno Jackson, Customstreet Bast, yesterday afternoon, when a farm of 160 acres, part of the Ttaupo Swamp, Northern Wairoa, was sold, after brisk bidding, for £10 per ; acre. A four-roomed cottage and shop standing on a section 50ft by 120 ft at the corner of View Road and Victoria Avenue, Mount Eden, was also submitted. Ridding started at £500, and the property was eventually said for £750.
