The tennis tournament was continued today. , In the ladies' singles competition, Miss Addison (Victoria) beat Mies Wellwood (New Zealand), 6—o, 61, and' Miss Powdrell, (New Zealand) beat Miss Travels (New Zealand), —1, 6—4. In the doubles contest Misses Nunnelly and Powdrell .beat Misses D. and F. Gordon (New South Wales), —2, 6—2. "Misses Payten and Jones (New South Wales) .Misses Ward and Wellwood (New Zealand); 6— 6—3. In the singles handicap Misses Nunnelly and Powdrell won.their games. '. l r -.'. STOCK DECREASES.

For the year ended March 31 cattle in Victoria decreased by 268,000, dairy 4 herds losing 100,000 cows, sheep decreased by 160,000, and pigs by 31,600.
