London, April 28. Lord Curzon (Chancellor of Oxford University) has published comprehensive proposals for the reform of the University, including the surrender of compulsory Greek and the establishment of a working man's college at a maximum charge of £60 per annum.
Following on an appeal issued by the Chancellor, it was resolved last year to raise a fund, entitled the Oxford University appeal fund, to meet the needs of the University. It was estimated that £250,000 was required for the promotion of modern studies, literary and scientific, and for the maintenance of the Bodleian Library. .;■■..
