SHEEP FAIR.
The second sheep and ram fair of tho season, conducted by. Alfred Bucklantl and Sons, took placo at the Remucra sheep fair yards yesterday. In all, 4343 sheep, 276 rams, and 990 lambs, were offered. There was a good attendance and satisfactory prices were realised. Young ewes sold' at about tho same prices as at the previous fair, held a month ago, while older ewes eased a little. Lambs also eased in prices, probably on account of the recent dry weather. As for rams they remained much about the same. The prices realised were as follows:— . Ewes: Two-tooth, from 14s to 17s 3d; four and six-tooth, 13s 3d to 16s; fresh fullmouthed, * 10s to 12s 6d; - ; inferior-mouthed,. ,6s to 8s 6d; .c\itU,'4s 6d to ss*3d.. ' " ' Wethers, from 10s 6d to 14s*.' . Lambs, from 3s 6d to 8s 6d. Hams: Lincoln*, from one guinea to 2i guineas; Romncys, Mr. Geo. Bayly's. 2i to 3 guineas; Mr. J.
