NAPIER HARBOUR WORKS.

[by telegraph:.press association.] Napier, Wednesday. At a meeting of the Napier Harbour Board the estimate of expenditure for breakwater construction in the ensuing year was confined to a sum sufficient to pay for cement ordered, and the making of blocks with the cement. This decision was come to in view of the expenditure which is, taking place in the widening and extension of the Glasgow Wharf, which is one of the breakwater wharves. The Board is pledged- to an expenditure of £20,000 on harbour-works during the next 12 months. -
