CuniSTCHFRCir, Tuesday. At the Magistrate's Court recently, John Tozer, Giil>ert MacGloin, and Harry Galletly, who made the fastest, times in the. 50 miles cycle road rate between Riverton and Leeston, on December 1?.. were prosecuted for furious riding, and to-day the Magistrate (Mr. Bishop) gave his reserved judgment. Mr. Bishop said he had carefully considered the matter, and was of opinion that the facts as staled did not constitute an offence under the section of the Police Offences Act, relied on by the information laid, and he dismissed the case.
