Vert little business was transacted on the Stock Exchange on Saturday, what few sales there were being confined to mining lines, with the exception of Wilson's Portland Cements (ord.), a parcel of which changedhands at 365. Waihis sold at £9 3s 9d, and they closed with buyers at £9 3s 6d and sellers at £9 4s. Talismans were done at 41s 9d and 425, closing with buyers at 41s 9d and sellers at 42s 3d. Waihi Grand Junci tions were easier, and sales took place at 345, 33s 9d, 33s 6cl, and 33s 9d, more being obtainable at the latter figure, buyers quoting 33s 6d.
