THE STRATFORD SEAT.

Stratford, Friday. Me N. J. King, Independent Liberal candidate for'the Stratford seat, addressed a good meeting last night at Stratford He said he was generally in accord with the present Government,, bnt would vote according to the dictates of his own conscience if elected. He advocated giving back block settlers roads, and pushing on the Straiiord-Ongarue railway. He received a vote of thanks.
