NAVAL GOVERNORS.
SIR H. RAWSON'S SUCCESSOR.

The Pall Mall Gazette says that the appointment of a naval officer to the Governorship of New South Wales having been such a .signal success, it is rumoured that Admiral Sir D. H. Bosanquet will succeed Admiral Sir Harry Rawson in that office, adding: " He is likely to continue the good relations established by Sir Harry Rawson. Moreover, his wife is a perfect hostess."
Admiral Sir Day Hart Bosanquet entered the Royal Navy in 1857, and has held the post of Commander-in-chief at Portsmouth flince 1906. Previously he was commander oi the West Indian station He is 65"years of age, and his wife, whom lie married in 1881, is a daughter of the late Colonel T. Bromhead Butt, of the Cameron Highlanders. .
