The .subject chosen by the missioner in his address in the theatre was "Exceeding Sin, Exceeding Grace, and Exceeding Glory." The building was well filled. Mr. Blakoley, sang as a solo, " When the Pearly Gates Unfold." Both choir and orchestra, under the baton of Mr. T. Adams, rendered efficiett service during the evening. The after-meeting at the hall was also very largely attended. Mr. C. J. Hemery, who leaves for Australia to-day, gave a short farewell address at this meeting. PEOPLE'S MISSION. At the Opera House yesterday afternoon and evening there were large audiences for the mission services. In the afternoon the subject; was "'The Excuse of Demetrius." The song service was varied and appropriate. The opening gathering for workers was announced to take place on Thursday next, in the Oddfellows' Hall. The evening service was most impressive, the sermon being based on the. text, "0, thou man of God, there is death in the pot."
