FIRE AT WHANGAREI.
DRAPER'S SHOP DESTROYED.. SS3 [BY TELEGRAI'H. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Whangarei, Sunday. The premises of Mr. J. E. Roberts, draper, -. ■ in Cameron-street, were destroyed by fire, last night. The outbreak was first ob- :"; served at about 12 o'clock, and had then 'it, good.hold. The file brigade was promptly mi the' seen* and managed to prevent the flames from spreading to adjacent premise*. The slock was almost entirely destroyed, and it is understood that Mr. Roberts' loss is very heavy.
